There is arguably no greater vision of the Christian life than the one presented in the letters of John. John wrote to churches that had been fractured by Satan’s work. In response, John calls each Christian to do two things: Remember that God is light and live accordingly; remember that God is love and live accordingly. These two exhortations embody the message of Jesus.
